Get to Know Your Solar Farm!

Route 262 Community Solar Farm spans 36 acres in Byron, New York. Once fully constructed, this community solar farm will provide Community Solar Credits to households in the National Grid service area, saving nearby residents 10% on their energy costs without any installations or homeownership requirements. It will generate enough energy from the sun to provide clean, local energy to more than 500 local households each year. Since New York subscribers benefit from state policies that support consolidated billing, subscribers get to see their savings show up directly on their National Grid utility bill so they do not need any provide any form of payment to Neighborhood Sun for the discounted Community Solar Credits generated by their share.
