Glassywing Community Solar Farm is located in East New Market, Maryland, providing 4,693,400 kWh of clean energy and savings to the equivalent of 460 households in the local community. By reserving a share of the energy generated by this community solar farm, residential subscribers (including people who rent or live in apartments) who get their electricity from Delmarva P & L can save 10% compared to the utility’s standard rate. Commercial subscribers, such as local businesses, nonprofits, and faith organizations, can also benefit from a 5% discount on their electricity costs by subscribing to this community solar farm.
