Get to Know Your Solar Farm!

Community solar is a state-supported program that can reduce electricity costs for anyone who pays a utility bill.  By subscribing to a local solar farm,  Maine residents (including renters) who get their electricity from CMP can get a guaranteed discount on the energy generated by their share of the farm’s energy output. That means you can get all the financial and environmental benefits of local solar without any installations, additional costs, fees, or maintenance. Residents who subscribe to this community solar will receive credits on their utility bill reflecting a 15% discount to reduce the total amount you owe for your electricity use. This solar farm has a limited number of shares available, so lock in your discount while there's still availability.
